Cherry Iced Drinking Chocolate

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the tart Morello cherry balances the rich chocolate—it's refreshing, not sugary. Made it in the new Velvetiser and it was perfectly cold and smooth within minutes.

Made this for a hot day and the cold drinking chocolate was so refreshing. The Morello cherry adds just the right tartness to balance the cocoa.

The cherry flavor is really bright and not at all fake-tasting, which I was worried about. Mixed up perfectly in the new machine and came out smooth and icy cold. Definitely scratches that chocolate craving without being heavy.
