The cherry pieces are a nice surprise—they actually taste like real fruit, not artificial syrup. It's indulgent enough to feel like a proper dessert but quick to make on a weeknight.
The cherry pieces dissolve nicely into the thick hot chocolate, giving it that authentic Black Forest taste without being too sweet. I've already bought a second box.
The dark and white chocolate balance is spot-on, capturing the cake's richness. I just wish the cherry flavor came through a bit stronger; it's a little subtle.
